PR 101 for Nonprofit Organizations with Amy Rosenfeld
Trying something a little different this week!
The topic? PR for nonprofit organizations. That’s right - we are talking the nitty gritty basics to help all of you small (and large!) organizations with getting the word out about your organization.
Truth be told - I learned 10+ things in this conversation with Amy Rosenfeld, PR and Communications expert. Amy is a dear friend of mine from my days working at Chrysalis and has since worked for organizations like Planned Parenthood Los Angeles and most recently joined Cerrell Associates as their new Associate Vice President.
In addition to the highlights listed below, Amy breaks down what terms like “media people” and “covering your beat” really mean (hint: I had no clue) as well as drops some major pro tips.
As an added bonus, I’ve created this PR bundle for you that includes:
A media tracking spreadsheet
Media Advisory Template
Press Release Template
Listen if you are on the go!
Highlights:
(3:02) PR 101 - what is it and when to use it
