You can’t track what you don’t measure and despite what you might believe, email marking is not dead. Email still beats social media every day of the week. So many nonprofit organizations come to me saying, “Why even bother?” These are also the ones who usually don’t have strong results because their email consistency is poor.
So much of what I see in fundraising is what I call walking backwards. You are walking - busy and using up energy, but you basically are always in the same spot not really ever moving forward. Why? It’s because your foundation is cracked.
